1.1 Sendlio (“we”, “our”, “us”) understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your information is used and shared online. We respect and value the privacy of everyone who uses our App and/or Site and will only collect and use information in ways that are useful to you and in a manner consistent with your rights and our obligations under the law.
1.2 This Policy applies to our use of any and all data collected by us in relation to your use of our App and/or Site. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully and ensure that you understand it. Your acceptance of our Privacy Policy is deemed to occur when you first visit our Site and/or when you sign up for an account in our App. If you do not accept and agree to this Privacy Policy, you must stop using our App and/or Site immediately.
2.1 We have a legitimate basis for collecting, using and sharing information about you. If you are located within the European Economic Area (EEA), we collect and use your information in compliance with EU laws. The legal basis for collecting and using your data depends on how you use our Services. We only collect and use your information when one or more of the following situations apply:

2.2 We may collect and securely process the following personal information:

Profile picture (if provided)
Scheduled content & recipient data (contacts, CSV imports, WA groups/lists, etc.)
Attachments you choose to send (images, documents, videos, audio, etc.)
A record of correspondence between you and us
Replies to surveys or questionnaires
Details of your visits to the App and resources you access
Information you provide when reporting an issue
2.3 We only collect this information when you choose to supply it. It is securely stored and processed according to best practices and applicable regulations.
2.4 Information may also be collected automatically, without you actively providing it, through technologies such as IP addresses, device identifiers, crash logs, and analytics.
2.5 An IP address is assigned to your mobile device by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). It is generally considered non-personally identifiable information. We use IP addresses to diagnose server problems, report aggregate statistics, improve service delivery, and administer the App.
2.6 When you use our App, we may collect:
Device type and operating system
App version and device manufacturer (for performance)
Push notification preferences
Usage analytics (via Firebase, Fabric, or similar)
Crash reports and error logs
2.7 Sendlio does not access or track location-based information from your device at any time.
All personal data is stored securely in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3.1 We may use this information to:
Identify you when you log in
Provide and operate Sendlio services
Ensure content is displayed effectively on your device
Improve the App and user experience
Carry out obligations under agreements with you
Enable participation in App features
Notify you about changes to the App (unless you opt out)

Provide information to advisors (e.g., attorneys, accountants)

3.2 We will not resell your information or use it for third-party marketing.
3.3 Under GDPR we ensure that personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently. Processing may occur only if:

3.4 Some or all of your data may be stored or transferred outside of the EEA. If so, we will ensure it is treated securely with appropriate safeguards, including EU-approved Model Contractual Clauses.
4. Sharing Your Information
4.1 We do not disclose any information you provide through the App to third parties, except in the following cases:
Where required by law or regulation (e.g., court orders, fraud prevention, national security).
To enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements.
To support transactions or interactions with trusted third-party partners (e.g., API integrations, messaging platforms).
In the event of mergers, acquisitions, or business restructuring. In such cases, user data may transfer to the new owner under the same Privacy Policy protections.
To protect the rights, property, or safety of Sendlio, its users, or others (fraud prevention, risk reduction).
With service providers under contract (e.g., AWS, Firebase, SendGrid, Zendesk, Fabric, analytics tools). These providers access data only as necessary to provide services and must comply with strict confidentiality and security obligations.
4.2 We will not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your consent.
5. Access and Correction of Personal Information
5.1 We will take all reasonable steps to keep your information accurate, up-to-date, and complete.
5.2 You can update or correct your account information at any time within the App.
5.3 Upon request, we will confirm whether we hold personal information about you and provide a copy.
5.4 You have the right to request correction, deletion, or restriction of your data, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.
5.5 You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal may affect your ability to use some features.
5.6 We will retain your personal data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We may also retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
6.1 We use industry-standard measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
6.2 Sensitive information such as device password (for auto-unlock) is stored securely on-device using Android EncryptedSharedPreferences and is never shared externally.
6.3 Data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS.
6.4 We restrict employee and contractor access to data on a need-to-know basis.
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable laws, you have rights including:
Access to your data
Correction of inaccurate data
Deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
Restrict or object to processing
Data portability
Withdraw consent at any time

8.1 We retain your personal data only for as long as it is necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
8.2 Specifically:
Account information (name, email, profile) is retained while your account is active.
Scheduled content & recipient data are retained only until delivery is completed, unless you save them as templates or lists.
Attachments (images, documents, videos, audio) are processed only for sending and are not permanently stored by Sendlio unless explicitly saved by you.
AI-generated content is processed on demand and not stored beyond the active session unless you choose to save it.
Logs and analytics data (crash reports, error logs, device type, usage frequency) may be stored temporarily for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Payment and subscription data (for Pro/Max plans) are retained as required by tax and financial regulations.
8.3 If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law.
8.4 We may retain limited information even after account closure where necessary to:
Comply with legal obligations
Resolve disputes
Prevent abuse or fraud
Enforce agreements
9.1 Sendlio is not intended for children under the age of 13, or under the age of 16 in jurisdictions within the European Union where GDPR requires a higher age of consent. We do not knowingly collect, process, or solicit personal data from children.
9.2 If you are under the applicable minimum age, you should not use Sendlio, create an account, or provide any personal information.
9.3 If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child without appropriate parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our records.
9.4 Parents or legal guardians who believe that their child has provided us with personal information may contact us directly at support@sendlio.com to request removal of such data.
10.1 The Sendlio App and/or Site may contain links to external websites, services, or applications that are not operated or controlled by us. This Privacy Policy applies only to Sendlio and does not extend to any third-party services.
10.2 Please be aware that if you access third-party services through links in our App, any personal data you provide will be governed by that third party’s privacy practices. We are not responsible for, and cannot guarantee, the privacy or security of information you share with third-party services.
10.3 Examples of third parties we may integrate with include Firebase, AWS, SendGrid, Zendesk, Fabric, Google Analytics, WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, and Email service providers. These providers have their own privacy policies which you should review.
10.4 We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policies of any third-party services before using them or sharing personal data through them.
11.1 We may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, evolving technology, industry practices, or enhancements to our App.
11.2 All modifications will become effective on the date they are published on our Site or App. The “Effective Date” at the top of this page will indicate when the latest changes were implemented.
11.3 We may also notify you directly of significant changes (e.g., via email or in-App notification) if required by applicable law.
11.4 Your continued use of Sendlio after changes take effect will signify that you have read and understood the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue using the App.
